A proper biomechanical examination would be strongly recommended and is crucial for anyone at any age. This would help to identify some of the mechanical imbalance due to misalignment of body and joints; any unequal forces and inappropriate joint loading techniques of which may cause pain and dysfunction to later in ones their life.
Podiatrist in Excel; we strife to identify the mechanical function and movements of a person holistically as soon as a patient enters the treatment room. We also perform a thorough biomechanical assessment & gait analysis & muscles and joints range of motion of the patient to identify the cause and the root of an injury/ discomfort.
This may involve examining and studying the way you walk, assessing your overall gait patterns, checking for muscles activation and joint range of motion of the whole body.
Only via proper examinations by a qualified and experienced podiatrist that a better understanding of the nature and course of a human movement and patterns will be established. This in turns will reduce the risk of injuries and encourage the sooner return to work.
